This gives both management and operations teams a more reliable view of what has been received, what is under production, what is pending, what has been dispatched, and what still needs to be billed or collected. Quality issues can be recorded against the relevant material or job, while WIP visibility helps teams identify delays before they affect dispatch commitments.
