Operating problem
Viva voice exams are valuable because they assess understanding in a direct and interactive way. However, they are difficult to scale, hard to standardize, and often poorly documented. Institutions may struggle with examiner workload, inconsistent questioning, limited records, and subjective evaluation.
What Solutyics designed
Solutyics designed an AI-enabled viva voice examination platform to support structured oral assessment. The system can conduct viva sessions, ask questions from a defined bank or rubric, capture spoken responses, transcribe answers, evaluate responses against expected criteria, and prepare review notes for examiners.
The goal is not to remove academic judgment. The goal is to support examiners with better structure, documentation, consistency, and reviewability. Human oversight remains part of the assessment process, while AI helps reduce repetitive workload and creates a clearer record of each student’s performance.
